Followin the massive success of this years event. Saturday the 12th of May 2012, Old Newtonians (Leicester) are hosting Their 2nd Annual Golden Oldies, Veterans Rugby Tournament.

An end of season celebration and festival of rugby inviting Veterens sides from throughout the country and beyond, We will be running Cup, Trophy, Plate and Bowl competitions .

The format is designed to ensure teams of all abilities enjoy their rugby and have a great day.

The emphasis will definitely be on fun, briging together old friends and making new ones along the way.

 The Event will be followed by evening entertainment including live music and copious amounts of drinking

  Entry is £50 by way of cheque (part refundable in Beer!)
 
This is a social event designed to promote friendship through rugby and to offer a platform for players of all ages and abilities to see the season out in style We wish to create a party atmosphere where the results will hopefully become almost secondry to a great social day of rugby, Dont bring your best side, bring the lads who enjoy a good day out and a beer! Athletes are not the order of the day.
 
Places will be Limited and teams will be accepted on a 1st come 1st served basis.
